Rush Hour Concert: A Grand Tour of Baroque Europe

  • Holy Name Cathedral 735 N. State St Chicago, IL (map)

Classical Music Chicago’s acclaimed summertime series of Rush Hour Concerts presents a program of 17th- and 18th-century masterworks from Germany, Italy, and France featuring violinist Amelia Sie, cellist Ana Kim, and harpsichordist Jason J. Moy. After her spectacular Ars Musica Chicago debut this past January, Amelia returns to once again dazzle and delight us with her signature virtuosity in music by Phillip Friedrich Böddecker, Élisabeth-Claude Jacquet de La Guerre, Arcangelo Corelli, Francesco Antonio Bonporti, and Nicola Matteis. WFMT host Robbie Ellis hosts a pre-concert talk with our musicians at 5:15 pm. For more information about Rush Hour Concerts, please click here.
